The Client
A bank in their own right, Klarna truly changed the e-commerce game with their seamless financial services, offering users the option to pay straight away or split payments in just a few clicks. Founded in 2005, they now reach 85 million users through more than 575,000 merchant partners.
The Challenge
Klarna’s goals to enhance their position at the forefront of payment systems included performance improvement of web and mobile applications, a complete re-architect of the site’s front and back ends, development of widgets for financial partners and putting in place long-lasting training and development for their internal team.
The Services
Our consultants worked with Typescript, React and Git to enhance Klarna’s mobile and web experience, developed a brand new financial product for the Swedish and German markets, leveraged Docker, Kafka and more to improve infrastructure, and enhanced CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Gradle.
